About Me:
I've been involved with movements for world change all my life, though I was distracted while I was raising my two boys, mostly as a single Mom. Now that they're grown, I can get involved again. I think that the Bioneers is the most exciting thing going. So here's my official bio:
The author of 11 published books and director of the Vibrational Healing Program, Joy Gardner works in the tradition of the shamana and medicine woman. Her books include Vibrational Healing through The Chakras with Light, Color,
Sound, Crystals and Aromatherapy. She has studied with various Native American healers and with Elisabeth Kubler-Ross. She worked as an alternative practitioner at the Country Doctor Clinic in Seattle. She helped to start the Siulaw Rural Health Center in Oregon, where she worked as Alternative Practitioner, and was a founding member of the Nelson Hospice Society in Canada, where she trained volunteers. She has been a Professional Member of the American Herbalist Guild and has been a holistic and vibrational healer since 1972.

“I believe there are two primary forces in the universe. The force of love, which is expansive, and the force of fear, which is contractive. My commitment is to change fear into caution.”

Favorite Book:
I'd rather tell you about my favorite movies. I've done reviews of about 25 movies and they're all on my website at

Oh heck, my favorite book right now is The Intention Experiment by Lynn McTaggart. Also The Field by same author.
Favorite Musician:
My favorite music is Baroque and Renaissance music. I loved the Band and the Beattles and the Butterfield Blues Band and Dylan.

Protecting Indigenous Peoples

Americans have become conscientious about protecting environments for the preservation of endangered species of animals. Now we need to protect environments for the preservation of endangered Indigenous Peoples, their cultures, their languages, and their sacred sites. On February 11th, a group of about 100 Indigenous Peoples and their friends, led and inspired by 75-year-old visionary, Dennis Banks, set out from San Francisco to walk to Washington, D.C., in a five-month trek “to protect our env… Continue

Hi Joy! I missed the February meeting, but would love to join up with the Asheville Bioneers. Do I just make it to the next meeting, or is there something I can do in the meantime?

Aloha, Joy!
That picture of you is amazing-- one often hears the cliche about becoming more beautiful with time--
but you actually seem to be DOING it!
I was very glad to see the "open letter to hillary"
made it to an open forum on bioneers. I'm not sure how ANYBODY could read that letter and still be torn
between Hillary and Obama. Unless there's one hell
of an environmental disaster/issue in Obama's closet,
it doesn't seem like a headscratcher to me. The actions and relationships documented in that letter
are of staggering and nightmarish proportions. Being a GMO supporter is bad enough, but honestly, to
have been in bed with Monsanto to that degree...
I'm tellin' ya folks-- in terms of the absolute worst corporate bad guys-- it does not get any worse than
Monsanto! I could go on and on... but there is probably some highly qualified local speaker on
GMO/Monsanto issues. Not to downplay other critical
environmental issues AT ALL, but every windblown grain of GMO pollen, every accidently contaminated
organic crop, all of it is permanent. Irreversable.
never to be changed or altered by law, by protest,
by anything. We and the Earth will be stuck with
whatever bizarre, twisted crap some of the least naturally principled people on earth are capable of.
If you can get a good local speaker to address your bioneer group, be sure to mhave him explain
thr "Terminator" modification. Any company happily willing to jepordise the sterilization of the world's seed bearing plants is probably a group to keep a
REAL close eye on. That's Monsanto. And that's Hillary.
