We are up to 20 new gardens in Eugene, all during the winter. (Our goal is 10,000 gardens during 2008). We are gathering experienced gardeners to help teams of inexperienced gardeners. We will have pictures on our web site and more stores of each garden at victorygardensforall.org. This is part of an outreach project to take action on global warming as well as to reconnect with nature.

Can tell you're a VERY busy person by your one liners-- if there's ever a spare moment
in between gardens, I've love to open a conversation around the wild and wonderful
possibilities of merging various threads of our two realities. Certainly no rush, but, as I said before, the aspect of huge fun does seem to loom large...
Riding That Green Wave, Dr. J
I'm not in Eugene, but am inimately familiar with the hallowed halls UO-- tree-lined
streets, the hobbitish older downtown section-- all this in the early 70's...
Got to say, I'm thinkin' that it will be more fun all the way around that I'm not in Eugene. I'm based on the big island of Hawaii, so, to my mind that gives us both a chance to get outside the box a bit as far as swapping resources, seeds (possibly even
starts?) and eventually even interlinking our green communities (as in we come check out your magical garden replication deal, you come check out our warm ocean/dolphin and whale chat project) OKOK there isn't an OFFICIAL dolphin, whale chat program (YET) We DO have a ton of highly original, aloha-filled greenies, typically with land of their own,or in a community format, with TONS of diverse and amazing things being
checked out.
From a quick glimpse at your bio I see we have a lot of interesting parallels- it will be
fun to see what we might cook up ...
