I am an ex-Conn (from Connecticut) who lives in and loves the Bay Area.
I love anything that has to do with the outdoors, whether is is cycling, camping, snowboarding, skiing, surfing, or just talking a nice old hike.
I am a die hard progressive, liberal who believes that we should have spent the trillion dollars in Iraq at home to rebuild our schools and reform our health care system so that we all can be provided with quality health care at a reasonable price.
I believe the term "environmentalist" should be a moot point, b/c we should all care so much about the environment that we should not have to state it. I believe in creating a sense of community, social justice, the right to have a damn good time and while treating people with respect and compassion.
I am currently reading 8 books at the same time. My friend calls me "All Things Considered" for good reason. I want to know what is going on and wrong with this planet, so I can help to fix it.
I am currently looking to play an active role in the sustainability movement by finding a job with a consulting firm working. Any help?
