Sierra Club Partners with Clorox

That is a painting of the seed pod of a huge Trumpet Vine. I belong to an artists community in Portland and I painted it in the studio there. When I was looking for images for Million Ideas for Peace I thought the seed pod was a good metaphor for how peace is a creation of lots of little bits nurtured into fullness. I know the paintings a bit abstract, t it's turned on its side, but if you can picture it vertical, I think you'll see the pod. That's the way I paint, what can I say?
