Things are great. Certainly getting more and more busy as we approach October. You probably know already, but we will be moving the conference to downtown New Bedford this year, so exciting. Well not sure what you are to until you leave, but we could always use a hand and I would always like to meet a fellow Bioneer.
I love it here, Marcy. I've been coming here for years but finally moved here about a year ago. Of course there's the beautiful -- environment, houses, dogs, music. What's really great is how easy I'm finding it to ease into different communities here. (And I have to second the Asheville Movement Collective!)
Asheville Movement Collective has the Prayer Wave dance on Sundays, and the Spirit Wave dance on Fridays. Both dances are free form self-expressive interpretive dances. We base our twice weekly dances on Gabrielle Roth's Five Rhythms that she talks about in her book, Sweat Your Prayers. The five rhythms followed are flow (feminine), staccato (masculine), chaos, lyrical, and stillness.
Welcome Marcy to Asheville Bioneers. I look forward to meeting you this summer when you arrive in town. The home page of your website suggests that you are fun. Since you are moved by music and dance, you may be interested in joining several of us in the Asheville Movement Collective. We base our twice weekly dances on Gabrielle Roth's Five Rhythms that she talks about in her book, Sweat Your Prayers. Let me know when you are in town and I will send you more information. Namaste.
