Hi, I thought I'd share although it doesn't seem you've been too active here on this website.

Hi and welcome to this Global Healing Stewards group! Where do I start? I’ve established “Global Healing Stewards” groups on seven different popular, socially responsible, social networking websites and my hope is that people take the initiative to do the same on other, socially responsible, networking websites. The purpose is to create a space on the Internet for people how are already or are interested in investing some time, effort and intention to bring about Global Healing while having a common and familiar place to collaborate on different websites.

The hope is to identify and create a “large” collaborative environment of which people can identify themselves and others in relation to people who are interested in caringly responding to the need for Global Healing. There are so many Global Healing oriented, socially responsible websites world wide that I thought it useful to introduce such an idea.

With a lot of enthusiasm, excitement and hope, I found myself considering developing an “intentional community” in November, 2005, which was followed by the decision to start with a website, although I had had little such experience at the time. I was hardly familiar with email when I started while the idea has evolved into much greater intentions, culminating into the creation of a socially responsible networking website that facilitates Global Healing. It’s been a fun and healing journey developing these ideas.

The web site is called; Let’s Save the World Together (www.letssavetheworldtogether.org to launch in the fall). The site is being developed in such a way that makes it clear where and how people can contribute to Global Healing based on intentions and ability and availability of work. I’ll share some of the “dynamics” of the site. Basically, it’s an achievement oriented, social networking website being designed to make contributing to Global Healing fun and easy in many different ways. Two ideas are listed below.

“Global Healing Stewards” might be considered “Green Collar Workers” (a fun term I’ve heard a few times), or people who constructively volunteer their time or have nonprofit jobs and already contribute to Global Healing. The intention is that Global Healing Stewards, “responsibly” and/or professionally, organize Global Healing Projects, endeavors and businesses. People who are interested in actively contributing to Global Healing.

“Global Health Stewards” is a group for people who want to contribute but don’t have the time or something like that. This group will be presented with a long list of socially responsible things they can do to contribute to Global Healing based on setting and or declaring “intentions” to follow through with socially responsible sustainable living ideas and life styles, such as responsibly recycling, walking to anything within a mile, washing dishes in cold water, using florescent light bulbs and so on…

I’ve created seven simple websites to “model” how other socially responsible websites can contribute too and participate with the “tools” available on Let’s Save the World Together.org. The hub of those seven sites can be found at:

www.greeningglobe.ning.com

Please feel free to log in and, however creatively or industriously, contribute and participate on any of the sites presented. A description of the overall idea can be read at the GreeningGlobe.ning.com home page and another of the seven websites can be found at www.globalhealingstewards.ning.com.

A little about me: I’m 45, “disabled” due to “bipolar disorder” and my preoccupation of creatively developing some “grandiose” ideas (I’ve about 25 years experience with “grandiose mind states”) and the website Let’s Save the World Together.org has been very healing for me. I was a Psychiatric Counselor for about 7 years in my 20’s and 30’s, lived in “Spiritual” intentional communities for about 5 years and I’ve wandered a fair amount.

Please feel free to contact me with questions or comments if you have any.

Beauties…

Yea! The current design can be found at: www.letssavetheworldtogether.org/beta/ where it's more or less being developed. Basically, it's at a stage where it appears as I had asked it to, not having used a computers much until about 2 years ago. The owner of the web site design company has requested to totally overhaul the site in terms of creating a better appearance with accompanying design that might be explained as, in a way that, 'presents better present organizational manners of how to use the site as a tool to cooperatively do good things'.

I don't know how long that's going to take, while, I can only imagine it can be fun creating a teen/youth site of which youth can actively participate in getting stuff done. It's like, there is so much opportunity for businesses and organizations to support people who express intentions of doing good things, for many different reasons. I'm hoping it becomes as easy as mentioning a good idea, from taking active rolls in managing things or just showing up when it's time to plant some trees with some other people or families, spontaneously volunteering, or something like that.

There's also an option where a competitive environment will be created of which will be, a little, modeled after American Idol, of which people can compete to come up with different ideas to help save the world together, and local socially responsible businesses can sponsor customized manners of competing via internet and web site functionalities, such as video (documentary, drama short, educational, music), short books, forum discussions, poll taking, live debates with timed responses and people who rate the comments and other creative entries, concerning winning money to follow through with owning a socially responsible endeavor or business.

I've been approaching things spontaneously, as I'm not much of a business person, hoping some help would arrive. My strongest contribution will probably be creativity, I hope anyway.

I'm not sure how to proceed and at the same time I'm loving the challenge of intending to get people, to get people, to get people to help save the world together...

There are a lot of different web sites that resemble let'ssavetheworldtogeter.org while part of the intention is to create a blogging and/or web site environment to facilitate socially responsible people, organizations and businesses to cooperatively get things done.

What is it you'd be interested in and having fun doing? I have some ideas but not sure what is appropriate of me to ask.

Hi Texas Youth Bioneers,

I'm Chris and it's nice to see you as members of this Bioneers Community. I've been working on a project, web site, and am wondering if your interested in helping create a teen version of the site.

It's a little awkward contacting teens as I'm not sure what the issues are concerning me coming right out and mentioning my intentions (see my page, although vague) and request that you take a look at what I'm doing so you can consider participating or giving feedback. The thing is I'd have to gain some verification from your parents, or so that seems like the right way to do things at this point. I hope your okay with that.

The web site url isn't posted on my page or the group I started presently as the sites going to be working, although not complete, in 4 or 5 months if all goes well. It would be really nice for me to gain some feedback from teens as to what they think of the project and site I'm speaking of if your interested in hearing more about it. Please let me know.

Sincerely,

Chris
